Personal update, broken heart, karma, & deepening in the heart & the feminine

Towards the end of my husband’s life I noticed that I was broken inside. I was still functioning effectively, so it did not feel as though what was broken was my ego, and I do not think anyone else noticed. (more…)

The art of being and nurturing individuals

I recently came across this interesting article - ‘The "Millennials" are coming’ - about the new generation of graduates. This generation has really gotten that we are all, ultimately, working for ourselves and that what they want matters. Their upbringing, like the English public school system, is proving extremely effective for some ("the best workers ever") and a lot less effective for others. (more…)

The power of attention

Much has been written about the power of intention but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Part of the difference that makes the difference, with and without intention, is the quality and effectiveness of our attention, because the effectiveness of our response to life, ourselves, others, possibilities, potential pointers or help etc, depends on what we notice or pay attention to.
