1. UK seminars

Only Richard Bartlett runs Matrix Energetics seminars. There has been talk about him running them in UK. The latest information I have (as of August 2008) is that none are yet scheduled. This can change. If it does, I post information about it here and email it to those who request it. (Click here to request that notification).

No one in the UK is qualified or authorised to teach Matrix Energetics. There are other things with similar names but they are not Matrix Energetics.

2. What if I don’t feel the wave?

"Much of the time particularly in the early years of Matrix I felt little or nothing. Stop trying to feel anything or be anything and the wave shows up. If you are a surfer you don’t feel the wave, you wait for it to come to you and lift you into a new place. 3. Does it always work?

In my opinion and experience, the divine matrix and Matrix Energetics are unlimited. Matrix Energetics is not, however, a set of techniques. They are just the starting point. The real power of Matrix Energetics happens when we let go of trying to make something happen, surrender and play full out. When we do that we have no control over what ‘working’ will look like or when we or our clients will notice the difference. In my experience of this and many other approaches is that, with Matrix, wonderful results occur often, quickly and easily enough for it to be well worth exploring for anything and everything we want to change.

4. Is it like/how is it different from …. healing modality?

Some aspects of Matrix Energetics are very familiar. In a sense there is nothing to learn and nothing new. It is more a case of remembering and engaging more fully with possibilities, of playing at a much more effective, fantastic, miraculous, magical level.

5. Have you used it for …?

People often ask if I have any experience of using Matrix Energetics with …. Dr Richard Bartlett believes such information can be misleading and, utimately, unhelpful.

"Matrix Energetics is a new paradigm in transformation which is only limited by your application of its principles and energy.

To ask what someone else has done with it applied to healing can be misleading. Rapier is not a medical professional, so he does not have the limiting mind set imposed by the thought parameters of a medical education.
He, like many others is free to apply what he has learned from Matrix Energetics in any way that he can imagine. I, on the other hand have two medical degrees, and therefore am somewhat more limited in my conscious choice of how I apply the work. I get reproducible effects in every one that I have seen over the past six years working within this paradigm. But would I apply the term healing to those encounters? Not necessarily. Healed from what specifically ?

I could start to name disorders that have been helped with this work, but that creates an artificial us vs. them mentality. As soon as I begin to interact with a disease condition with the purpose of effecting a healing I have focused on the condition, somewhat solidifying its presentation and physicality by my intent to do something for or to this disease or disorder, this automatically limits the types or responses that are possible in the therapeutic interaction, because even before I have started to do anything, I have defined the rules for the interaction, observed that person as having a problem or series of problems, worse,thus limiting my outcomes to attempts to heal a disease, and therefore will likely have entered into a feedback loop of diagnosis or analysis and treatment or therapy.

This limiting model puts me in reaction to the external presentation of the named disease entity. Then if I work on say, their Asthma and it doesn’t "go away", I would encode that therapeutic encounter as a failure. Observing the outcome from this reality template gives the disease state more power as I have added my own energy and focused intent to its manifestation thus potentially re-enforcing its physicality.

Much better to change the game, and pick some thing neutral to observe that is easily noticed by myself and the person who is requesting assistance. By not directly interacting with the disease condition,seeing it as something in need of healing, but rather addressing the unique qualities of the individual, and by entering into energetic rapport with them, not their condition, allowing for virtual transformation in every aspect of their being including, but not limited to their disease patterns or conditions. This approach takes you out of the problem set of analysis and treatment, to a more neutral ground of observation and response. It is like Aikido where you use the momentum of the other persons aggression against them in a passive loving way thus changing the quality and potential outcome of the interaction." 6. How long are my 1:1 sessions and how much do they cost?

My standard rate is £70 per hour. In order for as many people as possible to experience the benefits of Matrix Energetics, I offer shorter phone sessions for £40. These are typically 30 - 35 minutes and, typically, matrix energetics will be happening throughout (and, often, before and/or after). This is plenty of time for a lot to happen through Matrix Energetics. If the body cannot handle that much change at once, it will simply allow the changes to show up at the physical or emotional level as and when that works best for you. Hence, you are also welcome to book longer sessions. I track the energy throughout and follow where I feel lead. At times, I need to wait for that to become clear and, very occasionally, it may be better to stop. This does not mean you will get less value from the session. On the contrary, it leads to greater value.

7. In person sessions?

Some people choose to come to me in person. I work from home and am not set up with waiting room, receptionist etc., so the minimum in person session is £75 for 1 hour (additional time charged at £35 per half hour). Lewes railway station is a five minute taxi ride or a lovely 40 minute walk away. Driving is even easier, as I am just off the A27 and there is no driving through town.

8. How many sessions do I recommend?

Matrix Energetics is an exploration. I do not know where that exploration will take us or how long it will take. I do, however, encourage you to keep exploring as, although transformation is instant, we cannot know in what instant it will occur. Sometimes, it is only after we have exhausted everything we know to do. Hence, I offer a discount when one person books three or more sessions for themselves (3 sessions = £100, 4 sessions = £130).

… I looked at the cat, and there was that pesky ulcer, looking worse than ever. I decided–one more try, and then I’d take her to the vet. I started working on the cat, pulling frequencies up and trying to two point the wriggling bundle of fur. I thought, “What else can I do? What haven’t I tried? Whatever it is, please let it happen now.” Suddenly, my cat stopped wriggling and pressed her face into my hand for a full minute or so, holding very still. Then she hopped down and ran off. It was clear that something had happened, and that something was clearly different than the previous times.

Today, the ulcer is completely gone. This result was the one I had hoped I’d get all the previous times, but didn’t quite. My lesson was to not give up even when you think you’re out of options. When those clients return with complaints that didn’t respond the first time or even the second time, there is a solution set. It just may take thinking a little further outside the box or letting go of having to know what the solution is.

So I will keep this in mind when I get those difficult cases. And I will also keep in mind the many, many, many times when Matrix Energetics worked in one shot with perfect results and no reoccurring symptoms.” Master teacher Reggie Shelley writing on the message board

9. Introductory group sessions

If you have more questions, you might like to arrange an introductory group session. You will need to find a venue (which could be a large living room), preferably with a large screen to show some of a dvd of Dr Richard Bartlett and large enough for people to practise on each other; get together a group large enough to jointly cover my expenses (which vary according to your location) and a small facilitation fee; and contact me to arrange a date and time.
